Signs wildlife is inside
Scratching or thumping overhead, droppings, torn insulation, a building odor, chewed wiring, or damage and staining around vents and soffits are the classic tells of an animal already indoors.
Swift Wildlife is a local, family-owned team of wildlife specialists — not a pest-control company with a sideline. We humanely remove the animals in your home, seal the way they got in, and restore the space, across St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River County.

Swift Wildlife began with a simple conviction: Treasure Coast homeowners deserve a wildlife company that shows up fast, treats animals humanely, and does the job right the first time. We started as a small, family-run operation in Port St. Lucie and grew the way good local businesses do — one solved raccoon, rat and iguana problem at a time.
Today we cover three counties, but we still run things the same way: answer the phone live, give honest estimates, and stand behind our exclusion work. We exist because too many homeowners had been sold a quick trap and left with the same problem a month later — and we knew there was a better, more permanent, more humane way to do it.
This is all we do. We know Florida’s species, their behavior and the laws that govern their removal, so the job is done correctly the first time.
Anyone can set a trap. We find and seal the entry points, so the animal that’s gone doesn’t simply get replaced by the next one.
You reach neighbors, not a call center — and the crew that inspects your home is the crew that sees the work through to the guarantee.
Our subtropical coast keeps wildlife active all year, and every county has its own pressures. Knowing them — down to the neighborhood — is what local expertise really means.
Fast-growing neighborhoods in Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce back directly onto canals, preserves and wild land — an open invitation for raccoons, rats and iguanas.
Where we started, and where we respond fastest.
Stuart, Palm City and Jensen Beach mix historic riverfront homes with heavy tree canopy — ideal conditions for attic intruders like raccoons, squirrels and bats, plus snakes near the water.
Older roofs and dense canopy mean more entry points.
Vero Beach, Sebastian and the barrier islands sit between lagoon and agriculture, drawing rodents, birds and cold-sensitive iguanas along the water’s edge.
Waterfront and ag edges keep pressure high year-round.
Seven deliberate steps take you from the first inspection to a home that’s genuinely closed to wildlife. Each one feeds the next — and none of them is skipped.
A thorough interior and exterior assessment to confirm what you’re dealing with and where it’s getting in.
We identify the species, the season and whether young are present — the details that determine the right, legal approach.
Live trapping and one-way exclusion, never poison — and we never separate a mother from her young.
Every gap, vent, soffit and roofline weakness the animal used or could use next is mapped and documented.
Openings are sealed with durable, animal-resistant materials so the problem can’t simply repeat itself.
Droppings, soiled insulation and contamination are cleaned and decontaminated to restore a healthy space.
A final walkthrough and prevention guidance so your home stays protected long after we leave.
The same problem, two very different outcomes. Here’s how our approach compares to the typical wildlife company.

Proudly local across the Treasure Coast — here are just a few of the communities that call Swift Wildlife.
Every animal we remove is a living creature and, often, a mother with young. That belief shapes our methods, keeps us on the right side of Florida’s wildlife laws, and drives us toward solutions that protect both your home and the wildlife around it.
Live capture and exclusion over lethal control wherever possible — and mothers kept together with their young, every time.
We follow Florida’s FWC and FDACS regulations for trapping, handling and relocation, so every removal is done legally and responsibly.
Removal is paired with sealing and restoration, protecting your attic, structure, air quality and home value.
The permanent side of the job — closing the vulnerabilities that let wildlife in, so the result actually lasts.
We’d rather help you avoid the next intrusion than sell you the same removal twice. Prevention is built into everything we do.

A little know-how goes a long way. Here’s what to watch for, when to act, and how to keep your home a step ahead of Florida’s wildlife.
Scratching or thumping overhead, droppings, torn insulation, a building odor, chewed wiring, or damage and staining around vents and soffits are the classic tells of an animal already indoors.
At the first repeated noise, fresh droppings, or new roofline damage — and proactively heading into spring and summer nesting season, when a single female can turn an attic into a maternity den.
Secure garbage, remove outdoor food sources, trim limbs back from the roof, screen vents, and seal roofline gaps early — small steps that make a property far less inviting.
Wildlife problems compound. What starts as a noise becomes chewed wiring, contaminated insulation, structural wear and — in season — a litter of young, turning a simple fix into a costly one.
Straight answers about who we are, how we work, and what to expect from Swift Wildlife.
We are dedicated wildlife specialists, not a pest company with a wildlife sideline. That focus means we understand Florida’s species, their behavior and the state regulations that govern their removal — and we lead with humane exclusion that keeps animals out for good, rather than routine baiting or trapping that only treats the symptom.
It means resolving the problem without unnecessary harm. We rely on live trapping and one-way exclusion doors instead of poison, we take particular care during nesting season to keep mothers and their young together, and we relocate or exclude animals responsibly. Humane methods aren’t just kinder — they’re also what prevent the recurring problems that poor removals create.
A technician assesses both the inside and outside of your home — checking the attic and living spaces for activity, droppings and damage, and examining the roofline, soffits, vents and foundation for the entry points behind it. We identify the species and whether young may be present, then build a removal and exclusion plan sized to your specific home before any work begins.
Removal alone is temporary. If the gaps an animal used to get in are left open, another one simply takes its place — which is why so many wildlife problems recur. Exclusion is the permanent side of the job: sealing every vulnerability with durable, animal-resistant materials so the home is physically closed to re-entry. It’s the difference between a one-time visit and a lasting solution.
We cover the entire Treasure Coast — St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River County — from our home base in Port St. Lucie. That includes communities like Fort Pierce, Stuart, Vero Beach, Palm City, Jensen Beach, Sebastian and many more. Being local means we know each area’s wildlife pressures and can respond quickly.
Yes. Wildlife doesn’t keep business hours, and neither do we — we answer live and offer prompt, around-the-clock response for active situations, especially when an animal is inside a living space or a family’s safety is a concern. When you call, we’ll talk through what’s happening and get help moving right away.
We do. An intrusion often leaves behind droppings, soiled insulation, odor and contamination that won’t resolve on their own. As part of the solution we can clean, decontaminate and restore affected attic and crawlspace areas, so you’re left with a genuinely healthy space rather than an empty but dirty one.
Yes — Swift Wildlife is fully insured and operates in accordance with Florida’s FWC and FDACS regulations for wildlife trapping, handling and relocation. That protects your home and our technicians, and it means every removal is carried out legally and responsibly.
The strongest protection is a home animals can’t get into and a yard they have little reason to visit. That means sealing roofline gaps and vents, trimming tree limbs away from the roof, securing garbage, and removing outdoor food sources. After a job we provide prevention guidance tailored to your property — and thorough exclusion work does the heavy lifting.
Sooner is always better. Wildlife issues compound quickly — a noise becomes chewed wiring, contaminated insulation and, during nesting season, a litter of young. Acting early keeps the problem small, the cleanup minimal and the cost lower. If you’re hearing or seeing signs of an animal indoors, it’s worth a call and a free inspection.
Swift Wildlife isn’t a franchise or a call center. It’s a local, family-owned company run by Issac and Ella — the husband-and-wife team customers name in review after review. Issac leads the field work: the inspections, the humane removals and the exclusion that keeps animals out for good. Ella works right alongside him, and customers consistently describe the pair the same way — professional, on time, and clear about exactly what they’re doing and why.
When you call Swift, you reach the people who do the work — serving St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River County since 2020.
“If you need wildlife removed the right way, call Issac! … Until we met Issac and his wife! They are professional, on time, and get straight to the point.”
“Ella and Issac are absolutely wonderful. Polite, courteous, reasonable and very professional. They are very knowledgeable and explained everything they were doing. A great team!”
